Welcome to St Michael’s Anglican Church, Vaucluse. We are a community which endeavours to provide an opportunity where people of all ages can worship God, discover the truths of the Christian faith and support one another as Christian people.
Bishop Stuart Robinson commenced as our Rector on 5 May 2018.
We extend a warm welcome to visitors to join us in Communion and in all our community activities. At our two Sunday services, 8am and 10am, St Michael’s gathers as a community, to celebrate the goodness of God, to be instructed from his Word, and to pray to God to meet their needs.
If you are interested in the rich history of our parish and its beautiful church building, read up on the history of St Michael’s.
Our choir, the St Michael’s Singers draw on the rich musical heritage of the Anglican Church.
We have many opportunities to volunteer in our parish communities. Local annual initiatives include participation in Clean Up Australia Day and serving Sunday morning breakfast to marginalised residents of Surry Hills as part of the ‘Bread of Life program.
Home reading groups which meet weekly or fortnightly are an important part of parish life. They discuss the Bible or Christian literature.
The Parish supports several missions through prayer and special appeals.
Feel free to pop by and visit us. Our office hours are Monday to Friday 8.30am to 2.30pm.
