The St Michael’s Community
St Michael’s is a welcoming, inclusive, community-based congregation.
- We seek to shape our lives by the revelation of God as Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
- We affirm each person as God’s wonderful gift and look to encourage them in following Jesus as Lord.
- We value the traditions of the Church as a guide to shape the present
- We respond to God’s calling in Christ to witness to Him in our Church, families & neighbourhoods
There is always something going on at St Michael’s. These are some of our special Sunday and family events:
St Michael’s is committed to the relationship building power of the shared table. MichaelMunches, our annual parish lunches held in various parishioner’s homes on the one day, generally take place in February.
These are occasional lunch gatherings on a Sunday for St Michael’s families with children in primary school or in the early years of secondary school. The V stands for Virtuous. The I stands for Imaginative. The M stands for Mega-Munchies. These lunches are a chance for families to build friendship and provide a setting to develop our Christian values and to imaginatively follow Jesus.
St Michael’s Market Weekend
Each year in August, St Michael’s holds a vintage clothing and book sale in its church hall. Our sincere thanks to all our wonderful volunteers who worked so hard to make our 2017 vintage sale such a huge success!
